The Shuiba Power Station in Iraq consisted of two GE-Frame5 gas units that operated via a single transformer. In
order to improve the durability of service; it was decided to add another transformer to allow each unit to operate
independently from the other unit. In due course, Toloue Energy installed a new step-up transformer next to the old
transformer and the necessary components for this transformer to be connected to grid were designed, procured and
installed in the substation (i.e. Disconnecting Switch, Circuit Breaker, Current Transformer, Capacitive Voltage
